Adrian Lewis "AJ" Adams, Jr., 36, of Muncie, passed away at 10:02 a.m. on Monday, July 17, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his family.
He was born on August 19, 1986, in Muncie, Indiana, the son of Barbara Ann (Moore) and Adrian L. Adams, Sr. He was a 2005 graduate of Heritage Hall Christian School in Muncie and a 2009 graduate of Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina. He was employed by Carter Express Trucking Company in Anderson and was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
He is survived by his mother, Barbara Ann Adams of Muncie; his grandmother, Joan (Larry) Moore Gerkin of Westport; his sister, Dayna (Greg) Royston of Anderson; his nephews, Cole, Elliot, and Isaiah Royston; his nieces, Marcella and Harmony Royston and several aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents, John Moore, James R. Adams, and Peggy Craft. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023, from 2:00p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Grace Baptist Church in Muncie, Indiana. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at Mt. Aerie Cemetery with Rev. Rory Bond officiating.
Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport has been entrusted with handling the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or Gideon Bible Society through the funeral home
